Newsletter April 5th

GRASP Rocks!
                                                                                                                                                                                                                        April 5th, 2013
Dear Parents/Guardians,                                                                            

Hello! This week the GRASP students participated in different activities this week in relation to our theme of Circus. One of the activities involved doing a Color by Number picture of a Clown and making Puzzles from pictures that relate to the Circus. We also played different games this week and learned about Circus.


Next Week’s Agenda:   Butterflies
·        Monday- Butterflies- We will read a couple of books including The Very Hungary Caterpillar.
·        Tuesday- Butterfly Sandwiches- We will be making Butterflies from Bread and Pretzel rods.
·        Wednesday- Color Grid Butterfly- We will make Butterflies using a color grid and pipe cleaners.
·        Thursday- Butterfly Tag- We will be playing Butterfly tag and doing other games relating to Butterflies.
·        Friday- Butterfly Computers- We will play different fun and challenging butterfly games on the computer.

I really enjoy working with the students that attend GRASP and would personally like to invite all students to GRASP. If your child would like to participate in the GRASP program, Department of Social Services does have a program available to assist you with the cost for those who qualify.
