Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hello! This week the GRASP students participated in different activities this week in relation to our theme of Rainbows. One of the activities involved making a 3-D Rainbow and Rainbow Colored Macaroni. We also played different games and read a couple of books that related to our topic of Rainbows.

Grasp will be doing a fundraiser in March. We will be selling Almond Bark Pretzels with sprinkles on the 19th, 20th, and 21st. The cost will be 3 pretzels for $1. There is an order minimum of $1.00. Pre-Ordering will be available the weeks of March 4th and March 11th. Pre-Order forms are being sent out with this week’s newsletter, you can also contact me directly at the email below to pre-order. The pretzels will be sold by the lunchroom on those days. We will be selling the pretzels from 8:00 to 8:30 and from 12:10 to 12:30.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mr. Dalchow at Dan.Dalchow@k12.sd.us or 397-2317 or you can contact me at Rose.Long@k12.sd.us or at 605-216-0873.

I really enjoy working with the students that attend GRASP and would personally like to invite all students to GRASP. If your child would like to participate in the GRASP program, Department of Social Services does have a program available to assist you with the cost for those who qualify. Every day they are making memories and having fun! You can visit us at http://grotonareaost.blogspot.com/. Have a good weekend.

Ms. Long
