GRASP Rocks!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Hello! This week the GRASP students participated in different activities that were associated with our theme of Holidays. The students participated in an activity that involved making wreaths and they played with play dough. The students all enjoyed the activities this week including playing with play dough.
I do have a special note from Mr. Dalchow and I regarding the GRASP program and the winter weather. Here is how the GRASP program will operate as it relates to late starts, early releases due to weather, and school cancelations:
1 or 2 hour late start to school
· OST will still be open at 7 AM with breakfast served at 8 AM
Early release from school due to weather
· No OST
School cancelation
· No OST
o Note that if school gets called off after a late start, students will need to be picked up immediately as there will be no OST after a cancelation of school.
Next Week’s Agenda:
· Monday- Music Freeze
· Tuesday- Winter Mini Books
· Wednesday- Red Rover, Red Rover/ Red Light, Green Light
· Thursday- Coloring Day/Heads Up Seven Up
· Friday- Board Game Day

I really enjoy working with the students that attend GRASP and would personally like to invite all students to GRASP. If your child would like to participate in the GRASP program, Department of Social Services does have a program available to assist you with the cost for those who qualify.
